Privacy. AI governance. Digital responsibility. Our field has undergone substantial transformation over the last few years and our to-do lists only grow longer, more complex, and more consequential. To what extent are the professionals doing this work being compensated?

With your help, we are surveying our community for the first time since 2022. These results will empower professionals, hiring managers, and organizations more broadly to understand compensation and the current job market for privacy, AI governance, cybersecurity, and digital responsibility professionals.

From the results of this survey, the IAPP will produce a report to allow professionals, hiring managers, and organizations to benchmark both salaries and non-financial compensation across industry, region, market and other demographics.

Thank you for agreeing to participate in this short survey regarding salary and benefits earned by privacy and data protection professionals, hereinafter referred to as privacy professionals.

This survey is for IAPP research purposes only. All responses will be strictly confidential and you will never be contacted about your responses. All results will be analyzed only in the aggregate and will not be shared with any sponsors. For an example of the type of resource that will be created, you can find our last salary report, the 2022/23 Salary Survey here.

NOTE: The online survey tool is conducted using the Voxco platform. Where relevant, information collected is subject to Voxco’s privacy policy and the IAPP's privacy notice. The IAPP also works with Nova Insights to analyze results aggregate results, ensuring anonymity for each respondent.

The estimated time to complete is between 10 to 15 minutes. We have designed the online survey so you can complete it on your own schedule without worrying about the survey timing out. Simply access the survey from the same device each time.
